The Template Grid is how our model maps every Emotional Template. It crosses the six Core Needs with the four Strategies: 6 × 4 = 24 Templates.

Each square holds one Template and its if–then rule. The Templates don't have names yet, so we call each one by its need and strategy, such as "the Limits × Comply Template".

A tiny example. Look along the Limits row. Under Comply sits "I can't say no", the Limits × Comply Template. Under Pursue sits "If I get it now, I won't go without", the Limits × Pursue Template. Same need, two very different ways of meeting it.

A grid covers every combination and avoids labels that can't be traced back to the model. It is not a personality test. Templates describe patterns, not people. Everyone runs several, and which one fires depends on the situation.
