If–then rule
Part of: If I'm perfect, I'm enough
An if–then rule is the belief at the centre of an Emotional Template, the thing you learned to believe, written as "If…, then…".
In everyday words, it is the rule you live by without noticing. The model name is the rule link of the Template chain.
We write rules this way on purpose. A rule stated as if–then makes a prediction, and a prediction can be checked against what actually happens now.
A tiny example. "If I'm perfect, I'm enough" is the rule of the Capability × Pursue Template. It's why you redo a slide deck at midnight over one misaligned box. A small test: send the next one with a minor flaw and see whether anyone thinks less of you.
Rules form through repetition, never one event. Every cell in the Template Grid has one, and those in our grid are first-draft examples that show the logic.
