Intensity Mismatch is when the size of a reaction is bigger than the present situation explains. When that happens, a Template is probably firing.

Intensity Mismatch is the model name. In everyday words: the reaction is bigger than the moment.

The extra intensity belongs to the original Condition, not to what is happening now. That is why a small trigger can bring a large wave.

A tiny example. A parcel's tracking update says it's running an hour late. You refresh the page twenty times, your shoulders tight, a sense of dread building. The moment is a two out of ten. The feeling is an eight. That gap points to the rule "If I watch everything, I'll be safe", the Safety × Pursue Template.

It is a prompt to look closer, not a label for you or anyone else.

Proprietary model
When a reaction is larger than the present explains, the extra size is information about the past.
