Chase
Part of: Chase (Pursue)
Chase means trying harder. When a need feels at risk, you move towards it with more effort.
Pursue is the model name. Chase is the everyday word. In daily life it can look like people-pleasing, perfectionism or anxious checking.
A tiny example. You rewrite a two-line email to your manager four times before sending it, then check your inbox every few minutes for a reply.
The gift of Chase is real: effort, attentiveness, follow-through. The cost is exhaustion, and a sense that your worth depends on how others respond.
Chase shows up differently depending on the need it serves. Around Capability it can sound like "If I'm perfect, I'm enough", the rule of the Capability × Pursue Template.
It's one of four Strategies, and many people pair it with a backup, such as Hide.
