Fold means giving in. When a need feels unsafe to voice, you make yourself smaller so things stay calm.

Comply is the model name. Fold is the everyday word. It can look like shrinking, appeasing or going along with plans you don't want.

A tiny example. Your sister asks you to move your holiday dates to fit hers. It means losing the cheaper flights you booked, and you say, "No problem, I'll sort it."

The gift of Fold is peacekeeping and empathy. You read what others need and soften tense moments. The cost is a lost voice, and resentment that grows where your needs should have been.

Around Limits it can sound like "I can't say no", the rule of the Limits × Comply Template.

It's one of four Strategies.
