Fight means taking over. When a need feels threatened, you grab the wheel.

Control is the model name. Fight is the everyday word. It isn't only shouting. It can look like anger, dominance or rigid rules that everyone else has to follow.

A tiny example. Friends are planning a weekend away and the group chat drifts. You start a spreadsheet, assign rooms and set a deadline for payments, then feel annoyed that nobody thanks you.

The gift of Fight is strength and decisiveness. The cost is that other people can grow afraid, even when you don't mean them to be, and relationships wear thin.

Around Safety it can sound like "If I'm in charge, nothing bad happens", the rule of the Safety × Control Template. Understanding why you reach for control explains it. It doesn't excuse the effect on others.

It's one of four Strategies.
